Chris Knight Art

Chris Knight is a painter based in Fairhope, Alabama. He is an architect by trade, but painting has been his passion for decades. Chris specializes in landscapes and has recreated scenes from international trips, National Parks, and everyday sites at home. Chris generally graviates towards oil painting, but has had fun experimenting with gouache in recent years.

About

Chris grew up in Richmond, VA before his family relocated to New Jersey. Chris returned south to attend Tulane University's School of Architecture. His artistic talent and charisma translated to his career, as he led many major projects for leading firms over 40+ years. Since retiring, Chris has been able to dedicate more time to his art. Chris and his wife Alison moved to Fairhope in 2011 after decades in the DC area raising their son Owen. Chris enjoys biking, swimming, and travel.
